Yes. I’m also going to look into seeing if there’s a way I can block people, or something. I know there’s a plugin that would make it possible for us to approve accounts before people could register, but I’d kind of rather not go there quite yet if we don’t have to.

nfljersey is DEFINITELY a spammer. I’ve deleted that account 4 or 5 times at least. It keeps coming back. *sigh*

I mentioned this in the FriendFeed room as well. It looks like we’ve got some spam users registered on this site. While they haven’t (yet) been spamming with anything much but friend requests, I think it’s not the sort of thing we want to encourage, so I’m going to be going through and deleting accounts [...]

Sometimes, SOMETIMES, even we librarians have to say this dreaded word. Worries that no one will want to play with us anymore if we do are mostly unfounded, at least until we are better funded and staffed and we can switch our name to the Librarians Who No Longer Say NO!
